Con-Spurious Theories

This is a weird time in media because everyone can make media. Everyone can buy a Macbook and use Imovie to make guerilla films. I LOVE MEDIA FREE-FOR-ALLS because it's democracy at it's highest level. So what's my rant about. I am one of the proponents of all of this new media chaos so why am I not happy.
I worked for the Obama campaign on what I think is insignificant levels but my exposure to many of the different arms of that campaign made me privy of one thing. He is a regular human being like the rest of us. He has been able to leverage opportunities to get to this point but he is real flesh and blood and not the anti-christ. He may be a member of elite societies we may never know of but take it from a guy whose dad is a member of these elite societies... they aint all that.
The political landscape is at a all time maturity low. I can't have discussion with people who are far too liberal or too conservative. Whenever you are a zealot for anything you put your self in the position to not ever think intellectually about any topic. I watched several Obama conspiracy videos and they are all trash. I can make David Letterman look like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad by splicing a few video clips together.
Does the rich control the world. YES!!!! Why .... THEY HAVE MONEY!!!! Lots of it. Are politicians beholden to corporate interest.... uh... DUUHHHH. But Obama is not an anti-christ come to deliver black people to the gates of hell or come to get revenge for slaves all the slaves who died in America's holocaust.
I love the internet. I love it flexibility and it's honesty. But it disappoints me. That's natural. People are disappointing. But please fight the urge to jump on the next conspiracy theory. I love KRS-ONE because he was the rapper that let me know it was cool to be smart. That I didn't have to hide my intelligence and that there was power in reading books. But KRS your comments on Obama is ridiculous. Obama is the launching pad for all great things.
Crabs in the barrel even in this digital age. We have a powerful tool in new media at our disposal. Lets be mature adults on how we use it,

I think this is very insightful commentary especially based on the times we're in right now. I definitely feel that most things that are fed to us in the media are so easily digested by mainstream America. Conversely enough, its the little tidbits of information that you only get a quick flash of that are the things you need to take notice. It's the news stories, for example, especially concerning foreign affairs or international news that in some way is going to adversely effect mainstream America that you should be paying attention to. I make it my business to read foreign news or watch a station that is playing a news broadcast outside of America and it is amazing on how you could be hearing the same story that you just watched at six o'clock but with a totally different perspective. I have to say RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH is the name of the game!!! If it sounds too good to be true, maybe it is. But don't always think there are some evil devices behind things or people that are honestly righteous. I have to say we as Americans are often thought of as dummies to other countries that we probably think are barbaric, but because of their lifestyle and culture (which we don't understand or care to understand) they demand to be faced with the truth on a daily basis (in some cases). Americans love illusions and image. I.E. the Easter Bunny, Toothfairy, the premise behind Thanksgiving, Christopher Columbus, and yes even Santa Claus! We start off by feeding our children lies, tell them to tell the truth, and then wonder why they grow up so disillusioned and irresponsible! So its no wonder why the truth can be perceived as a "lie" and the lies are perpetuated as the "truth"! So I leave you with two quotes from two of my favorite movies, "You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up." -Morpheus speaking to Neo in The Matrix and "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake Upppppppppppppppppppppppppp!" - Dap in the final scene of School Daze. Both which are ironically played by actor Laurence Fishburne. So what will it be America, the blue pill or the red pill?

Wake Up America is the Truth... I'll take both the Red & the Blue pill; there's half truth's on both sides... you just have to use discernment and chew the meant and spit out the bones... just recently these Obama haters aka racist Americans put out a vicious campaign about Psalms 109:8 which made me SICK to my Stomach. Because you would have a bunch of people who are FOR Obama who don't know the word would go ahead and buy the T-Shirt not knowing its a hate message... I don't have much to say on this... other then I totally agree with you two on this...
